About Me
My name is Cheryl and I am the artist and owner of Simple & Sweet.
After growing up in the restaurant business, I have been baking and cooking my creations for friends and family for over 10 years. At their urging, I have decided to turn what I love to do into a business while I can continue to be a stay at home mom to my three kiddos!
I take pride in using only the best ingredients.
Wedding cakes must be ordered at least 2 months in advance. All other orders require at least a 48 hour notice. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of ordering with the remainder due two weeks prior to event.
Delivery available to Salem and it's surrounding areas for an additional $25

I was going to email you today and tell you the cake was awesome. So many compliments! So many people wanted to know where we got it (of course I gave out your name and everything several times). Not only did it look amazing it tasted amazing. Sadly, there were no leftovers for me to take home!
The baby shower was great.. everyone had fun... Once I get pictures downloaded I'll have to send you a picture of the cake table. Thanks again, and definitely will be using you again!

Hello Cheryl…
Thank you!! My son was thrilled and very surprised! He called me and said, guess what? I have a new friend named Cheryl!!! He said the cake was DELICIOUS and he did share it with friends (I wouldn’t have been surprised if he kept it to himself!) I did ask him to save a piece for me (I’ll be there May 1). But NO…. all he did was sent me a picture of the last piece!! It did look wonderful!!

I was looking for the world's best cake while planning my wedding... I had at least 10 tasting with different bakers.. Cheryl Ray's creations can't be beaten! Not only did she provide us with the absolute, most beautiful cake, We gained a friend! Her attention to detail is phenominal. If you are not a fondant lover.. You will change your mind, once you've had hers! Our cake was three flavors and each one was so good, our guests are still talking about it today! Thank you Cheryl! You truly are a wonderful artist!
